One to Watch - Wyong

Tara Madgwick - Tuesday July 20

One of the sires highlighted in this morning’s super popular story ‘The More Affordable Dream’ gave us a One to Watch at Wyong on Tuesday.

A son of the mighty Written Tycoon, Rich Enuff has had a number of promising winners this season and we can add the Kim Waugh trained filly Pretty Enuff to the list following her stylish debut win at Wyong.

Ridden patiently by Tim Clark, Pretty Enuff was allowed to settle early and finished full of running to win the 1200m maiden by a length as a well backed favourite.

A $50,000 Inglis Classic purchase for her trainer from the Woodside Park draft, Pretty Enuff is the third winner from Could Be Something, an unraced half-sister by General Nediym to Group I ATC Golden Slipper winner Phelan Ready.

She is the 30th winner this season for Rich Enuff, who stands at Woodside Park at a fee of $8,800.

Rich Enuff stands at a fraction of the fee of his champion sire Written Tycoon.
