Royal Ascot - Australasian Interest Day Two

Breednet - Tuesday June 15

Widden Victoria’s National Defense looks to have a great chance at Royal Ascot Day Two on Wednesday as we look through the card for where the interest is for Australian breeders with runners by stallions standing this season in Australasia.

National Defense

The Wesley Ward trained US visitor, Twilight Gleaming by National Defense is the favourite in the opening race, the Group 2 Queen Mary Stakes after a thumping seven length maiden win at Belmont at her second start.

Exceed And Excel’s Double Or Bubble looks a genuine chance in the Gr2 Duke Of Cambridge Stakes after returning for his four year-old season at Newmarket with an easy win in lesser grade after winning both starts during his three year-old year.

Haunui Farm’s Ribchester has a two pronged crack at the Listed Windsor Castle Stakes, including the favourite Ruthin, another Wesley Ward trained runner visiting from the United Stakes and coming off a six length debut win at Keeneland in April.
