First Stakes-Winner for Caravaggio

Tara Madgwick - Sunday June 6

Brilliant grey dual Group I winning sprinter Caravaggio (USA) shuttled for just one season to Coolmore Australia and that crop of foals have been sold at our yearling sales this year, the son of Scat Daddy making news overnight siring his first stakes-winner.

A homebred for well known breeder Peter Savill, trained by Stephane Wattel, Dizzy Bizu made it two wins in as many starts when powering clear to win the Listed Prix  La Fleche (1000m) by a length and three-quarters.

The first stakes-winner among six first crop winners for Caravaggio, Dizzy Bizu is the first foal from stakes-winning Kodiac mare Izzy Bizu.
