Australian Cup winner Humidor produced a blistering last 400m to dispose of his rivals in Saturday's Group I Makybe Diva Stakes (1600m) at Flemington.

Humidor drifted from $12 to $17 on track but scored by 3 ¼ lengths over the $1.70 favourite Hartnell while Black Heart Bart ($8.50) was third.

Below is what the jockeys had to say about the performances of their Makybe Diva Stakes mounts.

1st	HUMIDOR	DAMIAN LANE	He lobbed along out the back and he travelled up underneath me turning for home. I thought I was the winner a long way out. He's come such a long way since he came into the stable.
2nd	HARTNELL	KERRIN MCEVOY	Travelled nicely throughout and I was expecting a better finish. He finished off OK but the winner showed more dash than me today.
3rd	BLACK HEART BART	BRAD RAWILLER	Outstanding run. From three-wide and no cover, jeez he was gallant. Humidor was terrific but my bloke had Hartnell and the run just peaked 50(m) out.
4th	GAILO CHOP	MARK ZAHRA	He ran super. He box-seated and he's better suited when the tempo is more genuine. He had to wait and get a clear split. The winner was outstanding but he was just as good.
5th	SINGLE GAZE	KATHY O'HARA	Top run from her. She's right on track for later on.
6th	VENTURA STORM	REGAN BAYLISS	He's going to be a force to be reckoned with once he gets out to his right trip.
7th	TAVAGO	DAMIEN OLIVER	It was a good first-up run. If he gets into a handicap with a bit of sting out of the ground, he'll run well.
8th	JON SNOW	STEPHEN BASTER	He ran really well. He was a little but tight back there in behind them and didn't really appreciate that but he ran on well. Once he gets over 2000(m), look out.
9^th	INFERENCE	DWAYNE DUNN	He ran well but he's probably better suited in a handicap. The further he goes, the better he's going to get.
10th	HEY DOC	LUKE CURRIE	He was too keen.
11th	LE ROMAIN	BEN MELHAM	Really out of character for him because he's such a genuine horse. Travelled well to the corner but when I pulled him out, he was a beaten horse straight away.
12th	SEABURGE	CRAIG WILLIAMS	He was really disappointing in the run and gave me nothing throughout. He pulled up fine but it will be interesting to see when he cools down.
