Fernrigg Farm Snap Up First Trapeze Artist

Astute pinhookers Fernrigg Farm wasted no time on day one of the Magic Millions National Weanlign Sale on Thursday securing the very first weanling to be offered at this sale by Widden Stud’s champion sprinter Trapeze Artist.

Offered as Lot 4, the stylish brown colt from La Questa was bred and offered for sale by Kitchwin Hills and fetched $110,000.

The first weanling by Trapeze Artist to be sold at auction sells for $110,000.


He is the first foal of his dam, who is a half-sister to celebrated producer Courgette, the dam of Golden Slipper winner and Champion 2YO Filly She Will Reign and Group II ATC Silver Slipper winner Time to Reign.



La Questa is now in foal to another first season sire in Exceedance.

A four time Group I winner of $5.5million, Trapeze Artist has four more weanlings to be offered at this sale.

Trapeze Artist stands at a fee of $66,000 this spring at Widden Stud NSW.
