Circus Maximus Heads Windsor Park Roster

Galileo’s triple Group One winning son Circus Maximus heads the 2021 stallion roster at Windsor Park Stud.

Group One placed as a two-year-old, Circus Maximus won the Gr.1 St James’s Palace Stakes (1600m) and Gr.1 Prix du Moulin de Longchamp (1600m) at three, before returning as a four-year-old to land the Gr.1 Queen Anne Stakes over his favoured mile distance at Royal Ascot.

Circus Maximus will stand for an introductory fee of $20,000 + GST.

He joins an exciting young stallion line-up that includes Champion Sprinter-Miler Turn Me Loose, whose first crop includes last Saturday’s unbeaten two-year-old stakes winner Turn The Ace.

The triple Group One winning son of Iffraaj will stand for $15,000 + GST.

O’Reilly’s successful young son Shamexpress has enjoyed one of his best seasons at stud headlined by Group One performer Coventina Bay, with other exciting young stakes performers like juvenile Rangi Toa, London Express and Cyber Attack. Shamexpress will stand for $6,000 + GST

The stud fee for back-to-back Horse Of The Year and Champion three-year-old Mongolian Khan, whose impressive first-crop three-year-olds include Australian stakes performer My Squeeze Louise and smart gallopers Supreme Khan, Mongolian Wings and Suppression, will be $7,500 + GST

Completing Windsor Park’s 2021 stallion roster are Street Cry’s highly rated son Rageese and Encosta De Lago’s Group One winning son Vanbrugh, who will both be offered to breeders at a fee of $5,000 + GST

Following six consecutive seasons shuttling from the Northern Hemisphere to New Zealand, Leading First & Second Season Sire Charm Spirit will be rested for the 2021 season. The triple Group One winning son of Invincible Spirit has sired an impressive five Group winners from his first Southern Hemisphere crop to race.
