Racenet tip sheet - Morphettville Parks, Saturday September 16

Breednet - Saturday September 16

This is the Racenet preview and tip sheet for Saturday’s meeting at Morphettville Parks.

The track is rated a soft (6) and the rail is in the out 2m. sectional 602m position.

Racenet’s summaries and tips for the meeting are.

Race 1 summary - HANDSOME THIEF looks suited by the small field, should be able to sit back off them and just pounce late. MISS JANE looks the leader and may get her own way there, will be hard to run down if so. SO SKILLED is better than his run suggests fresh, gets a soft run here behind the leader. NIPPERKIN is racing well and has to be included in the back-end of all exotics.
Race 1 tips - 1st: HANDSOME THIEF (1), 2nd: MISS JANE (5), 3rd: SO SKILLED (6), 4th: NIPPERKIN (2).

Race 2 summary - Liked the way that UNSCOPEABLE ran through the line and wanted to win last time when resuming. SOUFFRANT was good winning his maiden but was flat second-up. Looks an improver. GLAM GURU was a good maiden winner last time but had all the favours and this is harder. ROCKET SOX comes out of that same race, will win an easier maiden soon.
Race 2 tips - 1st: UNSCOPEABLE (3), 2nd: SOUFFRANT (1), 3rd: GLAM GURU (2), 4th: ROCKET SOX (4).

Race 3 summary - HAVE PLENTY was super winning a similar race last time and gets in well with the claim. He will get a little further back but loves racing here. Both the Weir runners LUCKY PADDY and SHAMKIYR have to be thrown in, whilst OUR BOY NICHOLAS comes through the same form line as our top selection. Will be giving them a start.
Race 3 tips - 1st: HAVE PLENTY (4), 2nd: LUCKY PADDY (1), 3rd: SHAMKIYR (2), 4th: OUR BOY NICHOLAS (5).

Race 4 summary - RUPTURE is the interesting runner resuming here. He resumes off a trial that reads ordinary but he wasn't tested at all from about the 400 and eased down basically from there. Watch for any money around for him. BELLOMO has been very consistent this time in, he will be giving them a start and has to navigate the big field, but with any luck he will be in the finish. INNESTON was good winning an easier race last time after sitting wide. Will roll forward again. For the exotics only throw in MYSTICANO.
Race 4 tips - 1st: RUPTURE (3), 2nd: BELLOMO (1), 3rd: INNESTON (6), 4th: MYSTICANO (7).

Race 5 summary - There looks three genuine chances here and the betting may reflect that. STEEL FROST will get back but there appears to be plenty of speed in this and he should get his chance to run on. FOX HALL is resuming and has trialed well and the third chance looks to be OZI CHOICE who will be up on the speed and looks hard to run down if not pestered by some roughies that will also be vying for the pole. FLOW METER will improve on what he does here over further.
Race 5 tips - 1st: STEEL FROST (9), 2nd: FOX HALL (8), 3rd: OZI CHOICE (2), 4th: FLOW METER (4).

Race 6 summary - If the track is favouring those up on the pace then VIEIRA should be very hard to run down. He had every chance last time but was beaten by a better one on the day, he races well here usually and handles the conditions. KENTUCKY FLYER can run a cheeky race getting inside runs if the fence is not off. ROTHMOORE didn't run on well enough last time but he handles these conditions well enough. AFFRAY will also roll forward, chances rely on him getting cover on the speed.
Race 6 tips - 1st: VIEIRA (4), 2nd: KENTUCKY FLYER (8), 3rd: ROTHMOORE (9), 4th: AFFRAY (1).

Race 7 summary - WITH A BIT OF DASH didn't shirk the task last time and this looks easier down in grade and back against her own sex. Will be on the speed. SUPER CRUNCH is another on pacer that is racing well. This is harder but she will have all the options at the start. PENNY FOR A POUND looked to have every chance last time after a perfect ride, may have just been flat second-up. Maps well again. CHOSEN ANGEL next best.
Race 7 tips - 1st: WITH A BIT OF DASH (3), 2nd: SUPER CRUNCH (7), 3rd: PENNY FOR A POUND (2), 4th: CHOSEN ANGEL (6).

Race 8 summary - NODOUBTABOUTIT drops in grade, has the speed to lead even from the wide gate and looks well in at the weights with the claim. Very hard to catch. Watch for any money for INVISIBLE GIRL resuming, that could be the key to the race. She tackled black type before going for a spell, has trialed well enough. For third, FEDERAL COURT ahead of ASHERO.
Race 8 tips - 1st: NODOUBTABOUTIT (4), 2nd: INVISIBLE GIRL (12), 3rd: FEDERAL COURT (6), 4th: ASHERO (9).
