Woodside Park Announce Fees

Media Release - Friday April 30

As the Victorian breeding industry continues to strengthen its stallion ranks, the support Woodside Park Stud continues to receive from breeders not only locally but nationally, further highlights the resilience of the industry and we look forward to standing three quality stallions in the upcoming season.

Heading Woodside Park Stud stallion roster this year is Fastnet Rock’s most successful son at stud, the impressive looking, multiple G1 sire Foxwedge.

Foxwedge is the sire of G1 Australian Guineas winner Lunar Fox.

Represented this season by G1 Australian Guineas winner Lunar Fox and South Africa’s fastest race mare Run Fox Run, winner of the G1 Cape Flying Championship, Foxwedge’s five individual G1 winners headline just shy of 50 individual stakes performers.

With his first Victorian conceived crop set to head to the yearling sales in the 2021/2022 season, the G1 William Reid Stakes winner will stand for a fee of $11,000 (inc. GST).

Sons of Written Tycoon continue to prove their worth at stud, and Rich Enuff, his fastest 3YO son over the famed Flemington Straight Six is one such stallion.

Highlighted by this season’s unbeaten, dual G3 winner Dosh from the Grahame Begg yard, Rich Enuff currently leads the way on the Second Season Sire table for winners by a Victorian based stallion.

The son of Australia’s current leading sire will stand for $8,800 (inc. GST).

Dual Gr1 winner Tosen Stardom, a son of the legendary, world-class dominator Deep Impact will cover his fourth book, and is set to stand at a fee of $7,700 (inc. GST).

With his first crop yearlings purchased earlier this year by the likes of Ciaron Maher and David Eustace, John Foote Bloodstock, Matthew Williams as well as Mick Price and Michael Kent Jnr, the team at Woodside Park Stud look forward to seeing them hit the track in the new racing season.

As always, the Woodside Park Stud team are here to help you with your plans ahead of the commencement of the breeding season, and we look forward to hearing from you.
