Extreme Choice Fee Private

Media Release - Wednesday April 21

Newgate has announced Australia’s current Leading Sire of 2YOs and Leading First Crop Sire EXTREME CHOICE as PRIVATE for the 2021 season.

Extreme Choice will cover a restricted book at a private fee.

Newgate’s Managing Director Henry Field explained further, “We have worked out through experience and advice that Extreme Choice is most effective in the shed when we cover a restricted book. As a result, his book is limited to his shareholders. We will be doing a select number of foal shares as well and I would encourage breeders to put up their better mares for this opportunity.”

From a foal crop of just 48, Extreme Choice has done a remarkable job siring Golden Slipper winner and Champion 2YO elect Stay Inside amongst five first crop Metropolitan winners.

His progeny also include the highly thought of and unbeaten NZ 2YO Palamos and Group 1 aspirants Tiger of Malay, Extreme Warrior as well as today’s Sydney winner Xtremetime - read about her here..

“He is a freak, his stats are off the charts,” commented Henry Field.

“He is going to make a strong mark on our industry over the next decade or so and we are delighted to have already secured Australia’s best 2YO Stay Inside to stand alongside his father after his racing career.”

Breeders interested in accessing Extreme Choice thorough a foal share in 2021 are encouraged to contact the Newgate nominations team at their earliest convenience as we only have a limited number available.

The remaining fees for all of the Newgate stallions will be announced next week.
