National Weanling Sale Pinhook - Success With Any Budget

Breednet - Sunday April 18

The Magic Millions National Weanling Sale has a history of pinhooking success stories and recent history shows you can belt it out of the park on any budget.

We’ve taken a look at the biggest pinhooking profits of the last five years which feature a $7,000 Spirit Of Boom filly in 2017 that turned a $293,000 profit the following year and a $24,000 Invader colt from last year that turned a $476,000 profit this year when selling for $500,000.

This Invader x Terragon colt was bought for $24,000 at the National Weanling Sale last year and sold for $500,000 earlier this month.

At the upper end of the scale the flag bearer is the Zoustar x Madamesta colt that made $200,000 at the National Weanling Sale in 2018 and subsequently made $1million as a yearling, a very nice $800,000 profit.
