It’s official - Bloodstockauction.com is holding an Online Yearling Sale before its regular weekly sale this April!

This is the sale that many of their members have been asking for, and has been set for Thursday 29th April 2021, with the Final Countdown to occur on Tuesday 4th May 2021

Entries will be limited, so it is important to get yearlings entered nice and early to avoid disappointment. 

After completing a number of successful dedicated sales in Australia and the USA last year, and delivering more than $55M in total sales and just under $2M in a single auction, Bloodstockauction.com felt that the time was right to hold its own Online Yearling Sale to support its members. 

The sales landscape in Australia has definitely changed, with astute buyers and sellers continuing to take advantage of the benefits offered by online auctions, a format pioneered in Australia, New Zealand and the USA by Bloodstockauction.com.

How will the online yearling be conducted?

  • The Online Yearling Sale will operate similar to Bloodstockauction.com’s standard weekly auction. The catalogue will go live at 7:00pm (AEST) on Thursday 29th April, and the Final Countdown will commence at 7:00pm (AEST) on Tuesday 4th May 2021. The regular weekly sale will commence with racehorses immediately after the dedicated yearling sale,
  • Vendors and Bidders must be members of the Bloodstockauction.com website to participate.

What are the entry costs?

  • The Listing Pricing for the dedicated Yearling Sale have been reduced from $550 to just $220 per listing,
  • A 5% sales commission will apply to all Reserved Lots that are sold, and for all Unreserved Lots that are sold for $5,000 or greater,
  • No commission is payable on Lots that are passed in,
  • Dedicated marketing will be conducted prior to and during the sale and will be heavily promoted to our members and followers through social media channels, as well as through respected industry news outlets,
  • A dedicated Sales Consultant will be available 24 hours a day will be appointed to manage the auction process for you, as well as make any adjustments or alterations,
  • Professionally written descriptions will be prepared for your lots,
