Juvenile Trial Watch – Warwick Farm

Despite the wet weather in Sydney, a set of trials on the polytrack at Warwick Farm were held on Tuesday morning with four heats won by juveniles including one by a talented colt with a half-brother in Inglis Easter.

I Am Invincible colt Turgenev has shown good ability in all his trials to date and the Chris Waller trained colt looked good again.

He stepped away a little slowly for James McDonald, but mustered speed along the inside to hold the fence and lengthened to the line to win the 740m heat by a couple of lengths held together.

Turgenev was a $500,000 Inglis Easter purchase.


A $500,000 Inglis Easter Round 2 purchase for Colm Santry Bloodstock from the Yulong draft, Turgenev runs for Coolmore and partners and is the second foal of Group II winning Not a Single Doubt mare Gypsy Diamond.

Yulong will offer his half-brother by Lonhro at Inglis Easter as Lot 325.
