One to Watch – Tamworth

Tara Madgwick - Monday March 22

Darley young gun Astern posted his second winner at Tamworth on Monday and he did it with a stylish debut winner of the $30,000 Starmaker Plate (1000m).

Trained by Kris Lees, Do As You’re Told was well backed and produced a terrific first up performance to score a length and a quarter win.

Do As You're Told as a yearling

A $150,000 Inglis Australian Easter Yearling purchase for Frampton Racing from the Edinglassie draft, Do as You’re Told is the first foal from Look and Listen, a winning half-sister by Hinchinbrook to Group I winner Shooting to Win and Group II winner Deep Field.

Edinglassie passed in a Lonhro colt from Look and Listen at Magic Millions and after missing the next year she is now in foal to Pierro.
