Edinburgh Park Trio an Adelaide Must Inspect

Adelaide is a long way from Wingham on the New South Wales mid north coast, but the 2021 Adelaide Magic Millions Yearling Sale has been selected by Ian Smith as the best destination for these three yearlings from respected farm Edinburgh Park and on that basis you can’t afford not to take a closer look.

The ‘Stamped for Success with IKS’ has been enjoying plenty of success on the track over the past 12 months  with star performers such as Glenfiddich, Eleven Eleven and Rubisaki, whose half-sister was sold by Edinburgh Park last week at Inglis Premier for $450,000.

Edinburgh Park will present just the three yearlings for Magic Millions Adelaide and all have much to recommend.

By an outstanding Group I sire in Street Boss, who is noted for his two year-olds and this filly certainly fits that mould as a strong forward type out of a very good metropolitan winner in Whitten’s Delight.

Edinburgh Park are saving the best for last here with a quality filly with premium residual value thanks to her top class pedigree which is matched by eye catching physical type.

A half-sister to Group III winner Colour and to the dam of Group II winner Derryn, this lovely filly is from terrific producer and stakes-winner Regrowth, who has the perfect record of 10 foals to race all winners.

Regrowth is from the True Blonde branch (featuring Golden Slipper winner Forensics) of the famed Easy Date family that has given us outstanding sires Not a Single Doubt and Snippets as well as Group I winners such as King’s Legacy and Oohood.

“She’s a great type and has a great page,” said Ian Smith.

“She has a promising 2yo half- sister by Shamus Award called Jillette that has looked very smart in winning a recent jumpout for trainer Michael and Luke Cerchi, so we’ll be watching out for her.”
