Race 2 summary - FLIM FLAN MAN was runner up this track/dist last start. He will improve again from that and has race fitness on his side. Big watch on CAMILLO resuming after placing in a recent trial. Was tried at stakes level prior to his break. Wary of TOUGH ONE resuming for a new stable. He has decent provincial/metropolitan form and was placed in a recent trial. DUKE OF FREDERICK next best.
Race 2 tips - 1st: FLIM FLAN MAN (2), 2nd: CAMILLO (1), 3rd: TOUGH ONE (4), 4th: DUKE OF FREDERICK (7).

Race 3 summary - SAPPER TOM resumes here after placing in a recent trial. He finished close up in all three runs in his initial campaign and has drawn well. FIRST FAMILY is close to a win after placing in both runs this preparation, just needs luck from the draw. Include STAR OF HARADA. He won a recent Gold Coast trial and Colless has been book for the ride. HIDDEN STORM for the wider exotics.
Race 3 tips - 1st: SAPPER TOM (4), 2nd: FIRST FAMILY (9), 3rd: STAR OF HARADA (8), 4th: HIDDEN STORM (3).

Race 4 summary - WOODDITTION has placed in all five of her starts. She has been freshened and the blinkers go on. The one to beat despite the wide draw. QUEEN OF KINGSTON was runner up on debut. She is 58 days between runs but will have come on from that run. NATURAL IMAGE boxed on after a tough run at Kempsey last start. Right in this from the good draw. Wary of MY COUSIN MERYL. She was well beaten on debut. She has been freshened and since won two trials.
Race 4 tips - 1st: WOODDITTON (1), 2nd: QUEEN OF KINGSTON (2), 3rd: NATURAL IMAGE (3), 4th: MY COUSIN MERYL (8).

Race 5 summary - FELL FROM HEAVEN and MCLENNAN come out of the same race last start. FELL FROM HEAVEN boxed on after covering ground first up, she strips fitter for that. MCLENNAN is ready to peak after two runs back from a spell and has drawn well. COL'S TIGER hasn't been far away in stronger grade of late. He will appreciate the drop back to this company. WATER BOY for the wider exotics.
Race 5 tips - 1st: FELL FROM HEAVEN (2), 2nd: MCLENNAN (1), 3rd: COL'S TIGER (4), 4th: WATER BOY (6).

Race 6 summary - JOUEUR is the one to beat after placing here in his past two starts. This looks easier. WE'RE ALL EARS is still a maiden but has placed in her past five starts. She stays and gets in light after the claim. PRINCE ALBERT hasn't been far away of late. He will appreciate the drop back in grade. HUSONIQUE next best.
Race 6 tips - 1st: JOUEUR (6), 2nd: WE'RE ALL EARS (10), 3rd: PRINCE ALBERT (1), 4th: HUSONIQUE (3).

Race 7 summary - MUSTAKNOWN was placed this track/dist last start and gets in well after the 3kg claim. CALDERA GIRL is only lightly raced. She was placed at Ipswich in her second start. Has upside. ANOTHER COCKTAIL and I'VE GOT THIS prominent in early betting.
Race 7 tips - 1st: MUSTAKNOWN (12), 2nd: BLAKE STREET (11), 3rd: ANOTHER COCKTAIL (1), 4th: I'VE GOT THIS (3).

Race 8 summary - MORINGA'S ODYSSEY was strong winning here on debut. He will relish the step up to the 1200m and has plenty of scope for improvement. SYRAH won at Taree when resuming before only battling when stepping up in distance last start. Back to the 1200m suits. LE COURONNEMENT has been close up in similar races in his past few starts. Gets his chance here. SKY CLASSIC led all the way when resuming. Will give a sight.
Race 8 tips - 1st: MORINGA'S ODYSSEY (4), 2nd: SYRAH (1), 3rd: LE COURONNEMENT (5), 4th: SKY CLASSIC (6).
