The mood is sunny, the buyers look keen and the vendors look excited at the Inglis Melbourne Premier Sale and Maree McEwan caught up with some of the major players at Oaklands Junction.

Matt Comerford from Widden Stud, with 19 yearlings at this sale and set to become much bigger after the announcement they are expanding their operation to Victoria.

Harry Roach from Vinery Stud, who sold the Bue Diamond winner Artorius last year, with a draft of 10 including a couple out of Group One winning mares.

Ollie Tait from Twin Hill Stud with a draft of six including colts by Capitalist, Written Tycoon and Dundeel.

Matt Scown from Yarraman Park with a draft of 12 with plenty of enthusiasm about an I Am Invincible filly and three fillies from Shadwell to be sold un-reserved.

Chris Watson from Mill Park Stud, who have a long history of selling outstanding racehorses through this ring, with a draft of nine yearlings including some current pedigrees.
