Smart Snitzel Winner South Africa

Tara Madgwick - Monday February 22

Snitzel year-old colt Real Gone Kid was an impressive winner at Kenilworth in South Africa on Monday.

A homebred for Ridgemont Stud that was foaled and raised at Arrowfield then offered at Inglis Easter where he passed in, Real Gone Kid was subsequently sent to South Africa by his breeders.

Real Gone Kid was passed in at Inglis Easter and sent to South Africa.

He’s putting together a tidy record for the Brett Crawford Stable winning over 1000m by three lengths as favourite to take his overall record to three wins and two placings from seven starts.

Real Gone Kid is the first foal of Champion South African 3YO Filly In the Fast Lane, a dual Group I winning half-sister by Jet Master to Group I winner and Champion 3YO Colt Let’s Rock’n Roll as well as Group II winner Light the Lights and two more stakes-winners.

In the Fast Lane and her following Snitzel filly were both sent to Ireland in 2019.
