First Northern Hemisphere Stakes-Winner for Shalaa

Arrowfield Stud’s shuttler Shalaa (IRE) has been quick off the mark in Australia siring Magic Millions 2YO Classic winner Shaquero, but in the Northern Hemisphere he has take a little longer to find his first stakes -winner with that milestone coming overnight in France.

Three year-old colt King Shalaa won the Listed Prix de la Californie ((1m) at Cagnes-Sur-Mer by half a length and has now won three from three.
 



King Shlaaa is a half-brother to stakes-winner Waltham from Turtle Bowl mare Baki, a sibling to three stakes-winners.



Shalaa covered his biggest book of mares in Australia so far last season servicing 169 mares at Arrowfield at a fee of $33,000.
