Lys Gracieux Foals a Maurice Colt

The 2019 Cox Plate heroine Lys Gracieux (JPN) foaled a colt by former Arrowfield Stud shuttler Maurice (JPN) at Northern Farm on Sunday.

It is the first foal for the daughter of Heart’s Cry who bowed out of racing with a scintillating five-length romp under Damian Lane in a star-laden Group 1 Arima Kinen, which earned herHorse of the Year honours in 2019.
