Racenet tip sheet - Balaklava, Wednesday September 13

Breednet - Wednesday September 13

This is the Racenet preview and tip sheet for Wednesday’s meeting at Balaklava.

The track is rated a good (4) and the rail is in the normal position.

Racenet’s summaries and tips for the meeting are.

Race 1 summary - Obviously a lot of unknowns here. OVER EXPOSURE was a dominant winner at the trials last time and no doubt McEvoy will have him ready to go first-up. NOUVELLOKOVA was ok last time and draws to get a soft run, MISS LABELLE was good on debut after a wide run and as always watch for any money for those on debut, particularly FIBBERS.
Race 1 tips - 1st: OVER EXPOSURE (6), 2nd: NOUVELLOKOVA (11), 3rd: MISS LABELLE (10), 4th: FIBBERS (8).

Race 2 summary - LA LA LUCHIE has twice been beaten in three career starts when well in to red figures. She gets an easier assignment here and barring an above average one from the debutants, should be winning this. SWEET MISCHIEF showed enough on debut that she will improve off that out to the mile. Watch for any money for her stablemates both on debut for McEvoy, ROCKARRAL and SASKO.
Race 2 tips - 1st: LA LA LUCHIE (10), 2nd: SWEET MISCHIEF (12), 3rd: ROCKARRAL (8), 4th: SASKO (9).

Race 3 summary - SILENT WARRIOR has been consistent and should be winning a maiden soon. MAPLE'S IMAGE maps well and was good resuming, should get a soft run in transit. Watch for any money for the McEvoy first starters RENEGADE and SET TO SPARKLE. They both have trialed well enough.
Race 3 tips - 1st: SILENT WARRIOR (3), 2nd: MAPLE'S IMAGE (2), 3rd: RENEGADE (12), 4th: SET TO SPARKLE (13).

Race 4 summary - Looks an open race on paper with no real confidence. Those with a chance include the consistent RED BEGONIA, the resuming I'M A PRINCESS who was tried in much harder company last time and SILENT ICE. TRICKY AFFAIR next best running on from the back.
Race 4 tips - 1st: RED BEGONIA (4), 2nd: I'M A PRINCESS (7), 3rd: SILENT ICE (8), 4th: TRICKY AFFAIR (10).

Race 5 summary - JET EXPRESS is back in class and trip here with the claim, he should position up well. Should go well this class. KIRONA didn't seem to run on last time over the longer trip, drops back to the mile here. Should hit the line ok. HALAYR ROTHESTAR should get a soft run back on the rails. Was heavily backed in a similar race last time when just missing. Place chance. RED MENACE next best.
Race 5 tips - 1st: JET EXPRESS (1), 2nd: KIRONA (4), 3rd: HALAYR ROTHESTAR (2), 4th: RED MENACE (6).

Race 6 summary - HE IS GOLDEN has had a consistent start to his career, he will roll forward and try to lead all the way. MILE HIGH will also roll forward, he will probably need to cross to the rails to increase his chances. MASTER BLACK will be the beneficiary if those two or others cut at each other up front. PLANET VOYAGE is resuming and has trialed ok.
Race 6 tips - 1st: HE IS GOLDEN (3), 2nd: MILE HIGH (4), 3rd: MASTER BLACK (8), 4th: PLANET VOYAGE (1).

Race 7 summary - LADY ESPRIT produced a terrific effort when placed behind both Missrock/Heatherly when resuming. Obviously expecting those formlines to stack up huge for this with second-up record also reading well. Down on the minimum expect the consistent CASHED and USAIN DANE to also run very well. Neither certainly wouldn't surprise with both runners close to another win. Suggest LOPE DE CAPIO can be the big improver with slight drop back in trip appearing a positive.
Race 7 tips - 1st: LADY ESPRIT (6), 2nd: CASHED (7), 3rd: USAIN DANE (8), 4th: LOPE DE CAPIO (4).

Race 8 summary - LORD ASPEN has resumed well and was a huge winner the only time he was here. BROWN BEN should be running on hard, and BALF'S CHOICE has been consistent and must be thrown into everything. JIM'S JOURNEY for the wider exotics.
Race 8 tips - 1st: LORD ASPEN (1), 2nd: BROWN BEN (12), 3rd: BALF'S CHOICE (8), 4th: JIM'S JOURNEY (4).

Race 9 summary - There looks to be a stack of speed in this and looking for value at one that may benefit from that, going with JACKTHEGIANTSLAYER. He should get a soft run and charge home. Those with a chance that should be setting that tempo include SOPHACLES, LET'S TANGO and BREAKER OF CHAINS. If the track is favouring those up front then one of those will still be hard to beat.
Race 9 tips - 1st: JACKTHEGIANTSLAYER (7), 2nd: SOPHACLES (3), 3rd: LET'S TANGO (2), 4th: BREAKER OF CHAINS (1).
