Summer Months Sizzle for Star Witness

Always a reliable source of winners, Star Witness has slipped into another gear over the past two months of summer delivering 37 winners since December 1 including three new stakes-winners and three stakes-placed horses with the 2021 Inglis Classic Yearling Sale proving a showcase for his stock.

Flying the flag for Star Witness have been Threeood, winner of the Group III Gosford Belle of the Turf Stakes, Hong Kong based Explosive Witness, winner of the Group III Bauhinia Sprint Trophy and Aim, who scored a thrilling win over another Star Witness in Amish Boy in the Magic Millions 3YO Guineas.

Aim and Amish boy filled the quinella in the MM 3YO Guineas last month.

Well capable of getting slick two year-olds as well as horses that train on, Widden Stud's Star Witness is a versatile and affordable sire that hits the mark for trainers.

Star Witness has 13 entries for Inglis Classic after withdrawals, five of them to be offered by Widden Stud, who will present a diverse draft for the sale with something for everybody.
