Bidding for New Zealand Bloodstock’s first-ever National Online Yearling Sale held on Gavelhouse Plus is set to close incrementally today starting with Lot 1 from 7PM (NZT).

Running on NZB’s premium online platform, the digitalised Sale will offer a select catalogue of 49 yearlings from some of New Zealand’s most esteemed thoroughbred nurseries.

The value sale will give prospective buyers the opportunity to secure stock from standout sires such as Iffraaj and Sacred Falls, while also offering two unreserved yearlings from elite Derby sire Tavistock.

A notable benefit of the digital catalogue is that all lots offered in the National Online Yearling Sale are eligible to be nominated for NZB’s lucrative Karaka Million Series. Just 12 short months after they make their virtual sale-ring debut, graduates of the online sale can compete for a share in the $1m Doubletree by Hilton Karaka Million 2YO (1200m), followed by the $1m Karaka Million 3YO Classic (1600m) and $100,000 CollinsonForex Karaka Cup (2200m) for the remainder of their careers.

Buyers wishing to purchase from the online sale must register on Gavelhouse Plus prior to the closure of bidding here.
