Diverse Classic Draft for Valiant Stud

Fergal Connolly and his team at Valiant Stud have had a busy first day of inspections on Tuesday at Riverside Stables and with all the horses settling well into their new surrounds are primed for a big few days ahead of the sale beginning on Sunday.



The draft features 14 youngsters by a wide variety of promising young sires and proven favourites with highlights below and inspect them at stable G26 - 41:

Lot 270 Colt Star Turn x Rock Me Baby, by Rock of Gibraltar (IRE)

From the second crop of promising sire Star Turn and is a half-brother to four winners from Group II ATC Light Fingers Stakes winner Rock Me Baby. A big powerful chestnut, stamped in the image of his sire and grand-sire Star Witness.

Lot 82 Filly Deep Field x La Speciale, by Choisir

First living foal of a winning full sister to stakes-winner Scorpio Queen and bred on the exact same cross as Deep Field’s brilliant stakes-winning filly Isotope, the nick has had three runners all winners!
