Second Stakes-Winner for I’m All the Talk

A bargain purchase from the 2019 Perth Magic Millions Yearling Sale, talented three year-old filly All Banter produced a sustained display of speed to win the Listed MRC WJ Adams Stakes (1000m) at Caulfield on Saturday to become the second stakes-winner for I’m All the Talk.

Trained by Richard and Chantelle Jolly, All Banter had won three of her previous five starts and was very impressive when bolting clear to win by two lengths at Moonee Valley on November 28.

Given a freshen up after that win, she was sent out favourite for this assignment despite taking on older horses and given a good ride by Craig Williams rose to the challenge.


All Banter led throughout and defied a late charge from Causeway Girl to win by half a head taking her overall record to four wins and a second from six starts with prizemoney topping $214,000.
 


 

A modest $30,000 Magic Millions Perth purchase for her trainers from the Mungrup Stud draft, All Banter was also bred by Mungrup and is the best of six winner from Group III winner Bantry Bay, who was one of 92 mares covered by I’m All the Talk last spring.

A Group III winning son of Golden Slipper winning sire Stratum, I’m All the Talk has proven a notable success siring 12 winners from 32 runners headed by Group II winner Watch Me Dance with his oldest progeny just three year-olds.

He was at Mungrup Stud before it’s dispersal and is now at Darling View Thoroughbreds.
