Three in a Row for Zoustar Filly

Tara Madgwick - Tuesday January 26

Zoustar has been making news already this week with an $800,000 filly at Karaka, but he was also in the winning groove at Caulfield on Australia Day when promising filly Diamonds in the Sky posted her third successive win at Caulfield.

The Peter Moody trained filly won her two previous starts at Geelong and Caulfield but was stepping up in grade for this Benchmark 70 event over 1100m.

She was tenacious in the run to the line, sticking to her guns to score a half head win and has now won three of six starts earning over $120,000 in prizemoney.

A $100,000 Inglis Great Southern Weanling Sale purchase from the Springmount draft for part owner L McMaster, Diamonds Inthe Sky may look towards some of the early autumn Black Type races while she has fitness on her side.

Diaomnds In the Sky is the best of three winners from Cacophany, a winning daughter of Elusive Quality (USA) from an international Black Type family.
