Prepared by Simon Miller, Michelada made a winning debut at Ascot on Saturday scoring a stylish half length win in the 1000m sprint.

A $210,000 Magic Millions purchase from the Widden Stud draft, Michelada was the most expensive yearling by Nicconi sold at the Gold Coast in 2020 even though she was offered in Book 2.

Michelada as a yearling.

She is the first foal of Coleta, a metropolitan winner in Perth by Tale of the Cat (USA) from the family of Group III winner Delicious.

Nicconi yearlings were popular at Magic Millions averaging $151,429 in Book 1 and he has a strong line up at the Inglis Classic Yearling Sale where 11 have been catalogued, click here to see them..
