One to Watch – Wyong

Tara Madgwick - Wednesday January 20

Vancouver has had some smart winners over the summer including this lightly raced three year-old that broke his maiden with a dominant display at Wyong on Wednesday.

Trained by Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott, Anotherthinkcomin’ was easy in the market after racing greenly and finishing unplaced on debut last month, but was a different horse over a slightly longer trip with another month of work under his belt.

He led all the way for Tim Clark to win the 1350m maiden by nearly four lengths.

Another winner stamped for success with the IKS, he was bought by Gai Waterhouse/Adrian Bott/Kerri Radcliffe from the Edinburgh Park draft at Magic Millions for $210,000.

Bred and sold by Edinburgh Park is Anotherthinkcomin' as a yearling.

Anotherthinkcomin’ is the first foal of Candela, a winning half-sister by Stryker to Group II placed Time After Time and stakes-placed Coming Back from Group I winning sprinter Recurring.

Vancouver yearlings were value buying at the Magic Millions last week with five averaging $122,000 in Book 1 headed by his two top sellers, a colt from Boomalicious that made $170,000 to the bid of McKeever Bloodstock and a filly from Knockout girl sold for the same money to Lindsay Park Racing/Snippets Racing Syndications/Andrew Williams Bloodstock,

Vancouver has four entries in the upcoming Inglis Classic Yearling Sale and 12 for Inglis Premier.
