New Benchmark for Extreme Choice

Tara Madgwick - Wednesday January 13

Newgate Farm’s young gun sire Extreme Choice made his mark early during the second session of the Magic Millions Yearling Sale on Wednesday when his colt from Convention (GB) sold for $400,000 to become the most expensive yearling produced by his sire.

$400,00 Extreme Choice colt from Convention

Already the sire of three promising winners in Tiger of Malay, Abseiler and the unbeaten Kiwi Palamos, Not a Single Doubt’s dual Group I winning son Extreme Choice is a young sire very much on the up.

Consigned by Milburn Creek, the Aquis bred colt from Convention was bought by Ciaron Maher Bloodstock and is a half-brother to two winners from an imported daughter of champion sire Encosta de Lago.

Convention is a half-sister to Group I winning sprinter Regal Parade and Group III winner Entifaadha.
