Greg Polson previews Tamworth Tuesday September 12

Greg Polson - Tuesday September 12

The recent Moree Cup looks a strong form reference for two races at Tamworth on Tuesday with distance changes looking a significant factor for a couple of stablemates.

Mishani Stealth and Maybe Even You from the Shane Edmonds yard at Inverell finished second and third in the Moree Cup on September 3 behind Belflyer with both looking well placed in their respective assignments at Tamworth.

Mishani Stealth lines up in the Goodwin Kenny Spring Cup (1200m) with Matthew McGuren in the saddle.

Mishani Stealth looked the winner straightening at Moree but was run down over the latter stages.

Mishani Stealth's best form is in the 1200m distance range with five of his seven career wins at the trip so coming back in distance isn't an issue.

From barrier one Mishani Stealth looks set to get all the favours in the run and gets his chance to return to the winner's list over the shorter journey.

The converse applies with stablemate Maybe Even You who steps up in distance when he contests the FSDP Benchmark 70 Handicap (1600m).

Maybe Even You is racing like he is looking for the mile after coming from well back in the run to finish third over 1400m at his latest outings.

With the advantage of the inside gate on Tuesday Maybe Even You won't be as far back in the run and will take plenty of holding out at the finish.

Maybe Even You will be joined in the race by stablemate Mishani Scout who is not without a chance fresh at big odds.
