New Stud Manager for Rheinwood Pastoral

Rheinwood Pastoral Company is very pleased to announce the appointment of Mark Nevin as Stud Manager.

Bringing with him a wealth of knowledge and experience, Mark has a lifelong passion for horses and the thoroughbred industry.

Choisir colt from Blue ribbon that made $200,000 this yearJoining us from Vinery Stud, Mark has been an integral member of their team for the past seven years, five of those in a senior role; working across all aspects of this leading thoroughbred operation.

Mark will be responsible for the management of our boutique thoroughbred stud and the care of our 40 resident mares and progeny. We look forward to starting this next exciting chapter of Rheinwood, working with Mark to expand our business and continue to produce top thoroughbred athletes.

The team at Rheinwood Pastoral Co welcome Mark, his wife Melissa and their daughter Ava to the Southern Highlands!

Rheinwood Pastoral enjoyed outstanding sales results in 2017 selling all four yearlings offered at the Inglis Premier Yearling Sale highlighted by a Choisir colt from Blue Ribbon that made $200,000 to the bid of the Hong Kong Jockey Club.

The Inglis Classic Yearling Sale also proved a great success with six yearlings sold highlighted by our top seller, an I Am Invincible filly from Bugaboo that made $190,000 when bought by Edmonds Racing.

Rheinwood have added some lovely new young mares to our broodmare band the future is very bright.
