First Season Sire Watch on Boxing Day

Tara Madgwick - Friday December 25

A great racing program in Australia and New Zealand on Boxing Day sees plenty of opportunity for first season sires to make their mark with division leader Capitalist represented by no fewer than four runners.

Arrowfield Stud shuttler Shalaa (IRE) is already the sire of Breeders Plate winner Shaquero and that colt trained by Chris Waller will be in action at Eagle Farm where he lines up in the Group III BRC BJ McLachlan Plate.
