Dissident Mare Delivers Christmas Cheer

Tara Madgwick - Wednesday December 23

Third in the Group I ATC Flight Stakes at three behind Funstar and Probabeel, Dissident mare Foxborough has always shown a touch of class and was too good at Warwick Farm on Wednesday when leading all the way to win.

The John Sargent trained mare was tenacious in scoring a half neck win taking her overall record to three wins and 11 placings from 22 starts with prizemoney topping $240,000.

Passed in and retained to race by her breeder Geoff Grimish, Foxborough is the best of three winners from stakes-placed import Sense of Pride (Can).
