The second session of the Tattersalls December Broodmare Sale is underway with the appearance of the dam of this year’s dual Group I winning three year-old Palace Pier sparking keen competition.

Consigned by Highclere Stud, nine year-old Nayef mare Beach Frolic made 2.2million guineas to the bid of MV Magnier.
 



A half-sister to Group II winners Bonfire and Joviality, she was offered in foal to Darley’s young sprint king Blue Point.
