Thoroughbred Sport Horse Classes at Stonewall

Sponsored Content - by Tara Madgwick - Monday November 30

Hot weather did not dampen enthusiasm for the latest round of Thoroughbred Sport Horse Classes held at the Stonewall Showjumping last weekend on the Central Coast.

A big thank you to Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott Racing for sponsoring the TSHA 1.20m Group 1 class.

Gai and Adrian have combined their years of experience in the industry to build a winning team. The making of their great partnership comes down to dedication and passion. Both Adrian and Gai love the industry and really care about the horses and create an environment where all horses have the chance to thrive.

Their dedication and commitment continues after racing with their support of the Thoroughbred Sport Horse Association Classes and their own program - “Own After Racing” or OAR - organised by Jess Bott. OAR and TSHA gel together beautifully to give our thoroughbred horses “life after racing” and a new career!

SHA 1.10m Group 2 sponsored by Cooper Racing

Thank you to another one of our fantastic local sponsors, Cooper Racing. John is an owner/trainer based at Central Mangrove and has a long history of racing in his family.
John and Pip are equally passionate about wanting to rehome thoroughbreds to suitable homes when they are finished racing.

Like many trainers John feels it’s very important that the horses have the chance for other careers and supported the TSHA from the outset to help that transitioning process.

James Arkins and Rosthwaite Al Capone
