Juvenile Trial Watch – Rosehill

Tara Madgwick - Monday November 30

It was a busy morning for the two year-olds at Rosehill on Monday with six heats for juveniles and while spring stakes-winner Fake Love looked in top form with an easy win there were plenty of interesting unraced winners including three by first season sires Sooboog, Maurice (Jpn) and Star Turn.

Winner of the Listed MRC Debutant Stakes and a close up fourth in the Group III VRC Ottawa Stakes, the Ciaron Maher and David Eustace trained filly Fake Love was the fastest 2YO heat winner of the morning.

She won under a hold for Glen Boss and is clearly on track for her target of the Magic Millions 2YO Classic in January.

First season sires Star Turn, Sooboog and Maurice got into the winner’s list with the heat winners below.

Other 2YO heat winners were Overmann (Hinchinbrook) and Don’t Hesitate (Snitzel).
