The track is rated a good (4) interim 10/9 - 7:30am and the rail is in the out 4m 1000m-300m; cutaway applies position.

Racenet’s summaries and tips for the meeting are.

Race 1 summary - I AM SPECIAL is a great chance to make a winning debut after two strong city trials and she should be hard to beat despite the draw. HERMOSA REWARD trialled well at her only outing on soft ground and gets that sort of surface here. MISS IMAGINATION will be a lot fitter for her first-up run where she might have just found the 1150m but she should better off back at 900m. SECOND ISLAND is another that has improved from first to second trials and will be competitive. HILFIGER is another possible improver while the market moves on GOLDYLUX are worth watching.
Race 1 tips - 1st: I AM SPECIAL (3), 2nd: HERMOSA REWARD (9), 3rd: MISS IMAGINATION (10), 4th: SECOND ISLAND (13).

Race 2 summary - SPICE TREASURE also holds an acceptance for Kembla Grange on Saturday but he'll be very hard to beat if he runs at Muswellbrook after his excellent debut effort. Takahasi was ultra-impressive winning her last trial and should test the top pick. JUST BUTE might want further but she has shown the ability to be competitive here. I WEAR PRADA trialled well enough to be worth thought here. ATOMIC METEOR has tricky gate but has done Ok at both runs back from a spell and will be fitter again for this.
Race 2 tips - 1st: SPICE TREASURE (1), 2nd: TAKAHASHI (14), 3rd: JUST BUTE (6), 4th: I WEAR PRADA (4).

Race 3 summary - Going with AL CUBANA as the top pick after a solid effort at Dubbo, which indicated he was looking for this trip and he ran well in town over 1800m four runs back. ATLANTIC EDGE is racing in great heart and should be competitive again. FRAAJMAHAL broke through for a win and will be fitter again for his fifth run from a long spell. DON PELLEGRINO drops back in trip but has been good in harder races recently. Check the market on IGGY THE MOOCHER.
Race 3 tips - 1st: AL CUBANA (3), 2nd: ATLANTIC EDGE (4), 3rd: FRAAJMAHAL (1), 4th: DON PELLEGRINO (2).

Race 4 summary - Happy to make PINDARA one of the better bets of the day here back in this grade after a steady effort in a tricky race last time. RHYMES is hard-fit and racing honestly and should be one the main dangers to the top selection. REFUGE BAY will probably push forward and is capable of giving them something to chase. BIG ON FAME is struggling to win but he has a reasonable second-up record and can improve into a place.
Race 4 tips - 1st: PINDARA (2), 2nd: RHYMES (1), 3rd: REFUGE BAY (4), 4th: BIG ON FAME (3).

Race 5 summary - INVINCIBLE BOT has shown enough ability to suggest he can progress to tougher races and can return to winning form here. CRIMSON SUN score a deserved win last time out and can go on with it know he knows how to seal the deal. PRIVILY is another developing type that can improve from his last-start win. BOMBITO will be fitter for his effort off a seven-week break last time out. Check the betting on IL DAVIDE at his first outing for the Cavanough camp.
Race 5 tips - 1st: INVINCIBLE BOT (1), 2nd: CRIMSON SUN (2), 3rd: PRIVILY (3), 4th: BOMBITO (6).

Race 6 summary - JAR OF HEARTS usually runs well fresh and she did enough in her lead-up trial to suggest she will run well here first-up. MICHELLE'S GIFT improved at Gunnedah second-up and gets a soft run from the good gate here. ANNANDALE LASS was fair in a harder race at Mudgee but should be better off back at this level. SAMMI JAIN will be suited back up in this distance range and can improve.
Race 6 tips - 1st: JAR OF HEARTS (4), 2nd: MICHELLE'S GIFT (7), 3rd: ANNANDALE LASS (1), 4th: SAMMI JAIN (6).

Race 7 summary - Going with TRADES HALL to finish the day on a winning note for punters and forgiving her last-start outing on this track and going on her good win in a similar race to this two starts back. MAC'S REWARD will be much better suited back at this level after struggling at Gosford last time out. FIORAVANTI was sound at Quirindi last start and is drawn for a good run on the speed here. I'VE GOT IT can improve on his first-up run with a class drop. Check the betting on BOB'S TICKET and GENERAL SEPOY for their respective first-up runs.
Race 7 tips - 1st: TRADES HALL (7), 2nd: MAC'S REWARD (1), 3rd: FIORAVANTI (4), 4th: I'VE GOT IT (3).
