After a run of six second place finishes the Melanie O'Gorman-trained three-year-old was heavily backed and did the business with a three-length win.

TAB.com.au has supplied Racenet with a review of exchanges with punters at Randwick on Saturday.

Race 1, 2YO: Peter and Paul Snowden provided the quinella in the first race on the card at Randwick. Punters were also the beneficiaries as Assimilate firmed up from $5 in the morning to jump $3.90. Settling near last, Assimilate was aided by a cracking speed up front from Commanding Witness ($3.70 fav). Producing a big run down the centre of the track, Assimilate knocked off stablemate Dracarys ($3.60-$5.50) who nearly landed the money despite a betting drift. Gresham ($5.50) ran on well for third. Colosimo ($4.80-$6) was the most popular runner in terms of money taken and held a third of all bets on the race. BETS: Colosimo $5,000 @ $6; Assimilate $1,600 @ $3.90.

Race 2, TAB Highway: Suncraze finally cracked it for a win when running away to take this out. TAB bookies took on the son of Henrythenavigator, pushing its price out from $2.25 out to $2.60 at the jump. Holding 60 percent of the money, jockey Corey Brown settled him near the rear of the field with Suncraze doing the rest. Producing a huge finishing burst, Suncraze easily beat Last Try Wins ($6.50) which charged home from last. Poor Corner wound up third. The win of Suncraze represented a big loss for TAB. BETS: Suncraze $10,000 @ $2.25, $4,000 @ $2.30; Last Try Wins $6,000 @ $6.50

Race 3, BM85: Memes ($4.20) led throughout to win the ATC Owner Benefits Card Handicap (1100m). The Jason Coyle-trained runner was solid in the market and the second best backed runner in the race behind Clipper ($3.20). The pair were one-two in the run and that's the way they finished. Between them they held 70 percent of the market. BETS: Memes $2,000 @ $4.20; Clipper $2,000 @ $3.20, $2,000 @ $2.90.

Race 4, BM75: Punters were left reeling after the result of race four on the card at Randwick. Super Too went out as one of the best backed runners across Australia today, firming from $2.60 into $2.05. Getting every chance in front with Deanne Panya aboard, Super Too was a spent force 300 metres out after Cudabeen ($5.50) went straight past it. It was Salerno, however, at odds of $26 which swept past the leaders over the concluding stages to score the upset. Pro Consul ($26) ran third with Super Too finishing unplaced. Bets on Super Too accounted for 75 percent of the total investment. BETS: Super Too $50,000 @ $2.05, $9,500 @ $2.40.

Race 5, BM78: Argent D'or ($11) provided the upset in race five. Diving through on the inside of the heavily backed favourite Spending To Win , jockey Brenton Avdulla got the best out of the Sebring colt to win by a nose. The win gave Avdulla a vital win in the race for the Sydney Jockeys Premiership as Hugh Bowman, who had led up until then, was riding Spending To Win. The Peter and Paul Snowden-trained runner was crunched in betting and started $1.90 after holding 73 percent of the total market. BETS: Spending To Win $8,850 @ $1.85, $5,000 @ $1.80.

Race 6, Open Hcp: Sound Proposition and Loyalty Man were the two that firmed up late with the money proving spot on. Sound Proposition ($4.40-$3.60) narrowly got the better of Loyalty Man ($5.50-$3.80) in a great finish. Jacquinot Bay ($8.50) led and held third but was beaten a fair way. The quinella pair went around as the two most popular runners in terms of money held, while So Willie (4th) was next best. BETS: Sound Proposition $10,000 @ $3.60.

Race 7, Open Sprint: Boss Lane ($9) didn't have a great deal of support to win the July Sprint (1100m) at Randwick. Andrew Adkins timed his run to perfection on the six-year-old to score somewhat of an upset result. Boss Lane only held just five percent of all bets on the race. Felines ($4) was easily the best backed runner in the race and held more than three times more than any other horse. Reldas ($8.50) was next best backed. BETS: Felines $2,000 @ $4, $1,500 @ $4.20.

Race 8, BM81: It was a nervous finish for punters who took the shorts about Kings Of Leon ($1.90) but they got the cash in the end. Hugh Bowman had to get everything out of the son of I Am Invincible to get past Last Witness ($19) who headed it momentarily in the straight. Torpenhow ($10) ran third. Bolero King ($3.60-$2.80-$3) was the best tried to beat the favourite. Kings Of Leon had 46 percent of all bets riding with him. BETS: Kings Of Leon $2,000 @ $2.20, $2,000 @ $2.15, $2,000 @ $2.10 multiple times.

Race 9, BM85: Pelethronius ($7.50) was kept safe in the market for most of the day. Storming down the outside of the track, Pelethronius knocked off Invincible Knight ($9-$7.50) who had hit the front on straightening for the run to the judge. Francesco ($10-$17-$16) wound up third after being wide in the latter stages. The race wasn't a good result for TAB customers who sent out Steyne as a very popular $4 favourite. Bottoming out at $2.90 this morning, the Snowden-trained runner did get the blows but a lot of the money went on earlier in the week when $7 was available. Steyne was responsible for nearly half of all bets on the last. Of the others, Kingsguard was a good go late and firmed $8.50-$5. BETS: Admiral Jello $4,000 @ $9.50; Kingsguard $2,000 @ $6; Steyne $6,060 @ $3.20.
