South Coast Jumpers Enjoy Mirrabooka TSHA Classes

Tara Madgwick - Tuesday October 27
Wet weather did not dampen a fantastic show at the Mirrabooka Jump Club Spring Jumping held at Moruya Showgrounds on the weekend featuring some great Thoroughbred Sport Horse Association classes.

There were so many beautiful thoroughbreds competing and all classes were generously sponsored by Moruya Jockey Club and the TSHA.
Michael Cross and Little Bear, winners of both the Group 1 and 2 classes!

Michael Cross and Hats off to Slim aka Little Bear won both the 1.20m Group 1 and the 1.10m Group 2, but had some stiff opposition. This 17 year-old gelding was in hot form throughout the show and while his racing career yielded just one win  from 11 starts, his jumping career has proved far more successful!

Congratulations to all the winners and placegetters in the Group I and 2 classes.

The 95cm Slipper class was won by Kiwi bred Gold Mount, ridden by Amber Pollard, who was enjoying her first show back after having a baby girl seven months ago, while the Group 3 class went to Aria Baker and her sensational gelding That's Limo, who were fresh from a very successful Waratah Show in Sydney last week where they contested the open junior classes.

Congratulations to all the winners and placegetters in the Slipper and Group 3 classes.
