All Too Hard's Forbidden Love Opens Stakes Account

Mark Smith - Saturday October 17

The three-year-old all Too Hard filly Forbidden Love needed to dig deep under her topweight in Saturday's Listed Tresemme Reginald Allen Quality (1400m) at Randwick, and she did not let anyone down.

Forbidden Love is all heart (Steve Hart)

Ridden by Tommy Berry for Richard and Michael Freedman, Forbidden Love kept battling down the long Randwick straight to hold the chasing pack led by the I Am Invincible filly Jovial by a neck with a short-neck back to the Power filly Elizabeel in third.

Placed in the Group II Darley Furious Stakes and Listed Heritage Stakes, Forbidden Love advances her record to three wins and three thirds from seven starts with earnings of $198,750.

Bred by Kerry O'Brien Thoroughbreds, the daughter of All Too Hard was purchased by Richard Freedman for $150,000 out of the Bhima Stud draft at the 2019 magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale.

A half-sister to the promising Melbourne winner Kuramae, Forbidden Love is the second foal of the class More Than Ready (USA) mare Juliet's Princess (USA).

A 5-time winner and stakes-placed in the Listed SAJC Laelia Stakes, Juliet's Princess is out of the unraced Thunder Gulch (USA) mare Malayan Princess.

Juliet's Princess (USA) has a two-year-old Foxwedge colt that was purchased out of the Bhima draft by Matthew Williams Racing for $40,000 at this year's Inglis Premier Yearling Sale.

After missing in 2018, Juliet's Princess (USA) was covered by Epaulette last spring.

Forbidden love becomes the 17th stakes-winner for Vinery Stud's All Too Hard who has made a fast start to the season led by the Group 1 winner and leading The Everest contender Behemoth.
