More Zhongli Thoroughbreds 2YOs at Riverside Stables

Zhongli Thoroughbreds will offer a diverse draft of two year-olds at the upcoming Inglis Ready2Race Sale prepared and presented by various vendors, the draft featuring outstanding colts by boom first season sires  Shalaa (IRE) and Capitalist, who sired his first winner at Randwick on Saturday. .

Lot 171 Gelding Tivaci x Adriatico – Prima Park – 10.40 seconds

Kiwi bred from the first crop of High Chaparral’s Group I winner Tivaci and is a half-brother to three winners including Group II placed Bobby Dee.

“Big strong horse with a big stride, really gets across the ground. Could see him running as a late 2yo,” Jeremy Wales.

Lot 177 Colt Shalaa (IRE) x Angasi – Glenvale Park – 10.31 seconds

From the first crop of Shalaa, who is already the sire of Group III ATC Breeders Plate winner Shaquero. First foal of a winning half-sister to Group III winner Shoreham from the family of dual Group I winner and sire Kermadec.

“He’s a really nice colt, very forward and will go early but looks like he will also train on. He’s the pick of my draft,” Damian Lane.

Lot 181 Colt Bobby’s Kitten (USA) x Aqualuna – Blake Ryan Racing – 10.53 seconds

From the first Australian crop of US Group I winner Bobby’s Kitten. Half-brother to three winners including stakes-winner Mezeray Miss.

“Good size, good strength and good movement. He’ll make a nice 3yo but will race at two,” Blake Ryan.

Another Kiwi bred by promising first season sire Tivaci and is from a daughter of stakes-winner Midnight Babe, runner up in the Group I Queensland Oaks.

“Great moving colt with an excellent attitude, real Derby type of horse,” Jeremy Wales.
