They get their chance in what looks a weak race. THOMSON RIVER made up good ground at Moree last start. He will appreciate the extra 100m here. SKILL SET hasn't been far away in her past two starts. Place claims from the good draw.

Race 2 summary - SMOKEY EYE looks hard to beat. He won at Kempsey two back before battled on after covering ground last start. This looks an easy race. SNUFFS THE BATTLE resumes for a new stable. He Victorian form can measure up here. IN BEGAL won at Tamworth two back before only battling last start. This is more suitable. COMMON PEOPLE next best.
Race 2 tips - 1st: SMOKEY EYE (3), 2nd: SNUFFS THE BATTLE (1), 3rd: IN BENGAL (2), 4th: COMMON PEOPLE (4).

Race 3 summary - This looks a nice race for CAPNICCONI. She has placed in her past two starts, the latest at Port Macquarie. This looks easier and has the rails draw. NOT A PRINCESS hasn't had much luck in two of her three starts. She can improve here. Keep I AM THE KILDA safe on debut. She is in a smart stable. KAYPEAIZS makes here debut next best.
Race 3 tips - 1st: CAPNICCONI (7), 2nd: NOT A PRINCESS (3), 3rd: I AM AT THE KILDA (2), 4th: KAYPEAIZS (10).

Race 4 summary - NEWCASTLE DANCER was runner up at Grafton last start. He has a good record at the distance and has drawn well. Hard to hold out. CLEVER GENT for the quinella. AKUMANDI and BALANTES for the wider exotics.
Race 4 tips - 1st: NEWCASTLE DANCER (3), 2nd: CLEVER GENT (7), 3rd: AKUMANDI (4), 4th: BALANTES (8).

Race 5 summary - Hard race to assess with most of these out of form. MY BOY LOUIE is hard to catch but is more than capable on his day. ROULETTE BELLE hasn't been far away in recent starts and will find this easier. MOONLIGHT SPY had a tough run when resuming. Strips fitter and can improve sharply here. RIDGES PRIDE drops in grade and has drawn well next best.
Race 5 tips - 1st: MY BOY LOUIE (7), 2nd: ROULETTE BELLE (8), 3rd: MOONLIGHT SPY (1), 4th: RIDGES PRIDE (5).

Race 6 summary - GALLANT GIRL is racing very consistently. She was placed at Port Macquarie last start. She has a handy claim and has the rails draw. MR HAAR was placed at Tamworth last start. This looks easier, looks the danger. IRISH DUKE has found some form in his past two starts. Gets his chance to get back into the winners stall here. MELTED MOMENTS is on trial at the trip but can figure.
Race 6 tips - 1st: GALLANT GIRL (2), 2nd: MR HAAR (3), 3rd: IRISH DUKE (7), 4th: MELTED MOMENTS (1).
