Outreach Colt Gallops Fastest at Magic Millions Breeze Ups

A colt by Exceed and Excel's group performed son Outreach ran the quickest time during today's third breeze up session leading into next month's Magic Millions Gold Coast 2YOs in Training Sale.

The colt, consigned by Kenmore Lodge as Lot 96, is the third foal of the twice winning Black Hawk mare Ablackahawka and he clocked a slick 10.28 seconds for his 200 metre gallop at the Gold Coast Turf Club today.

The speedy youngster hails from the family of Galaxy winner Proprietor and is by Outreach, who at his only start pushed subsequent Golden Slipper winner Vancouver when second in the Canonbury Stakes. He's a brother to the Slipper winner Overreach.

Oakey based Symphony Lodge supplied the next three fastest of the day - as follows:

  • 10.33 secs - Lot 59 - Better Than Ready-Shadows 'n' Stars colt
  • 10.38 secs - Lot 85 - Reward for Effort-Varanasi colt
  • 10.43 secs - Lot 24 - Nicconi-Noesis colt
The fourth and final breeze up session will be held at the Gold Coast Turf Club on the eve of the sale - Friday, November 6.
