Juvenile Trial Watch – Rosehill

Tara Madgwick - Monday September 28

It was all happening at the Rosehill trials on Monday morning with Nature Strip passing his barrier test and Gytrash given a good blow out as well two heats for juveniles won by the progeny of first season sire Star Turn and champion sire I Am Invincible.

The most expensive yearling from the first crop of Vinery Stud’s Star Turn, Montana Flash is a replica of Dad and showed plenty of talent to win his heat by half a length for Team Hawkes, who also prepared his sire.

He was slow to begin and finished strongly from last, so will take a lot of benefit from the experience and is bred to go early being from a half-sister to early juvenile stakes-winner Superfly.

The Chris Waller trained I Am Invincible filly She’s All Class looks well named, showing abundant natural talent to lead and keep going to win by a length and clocking much quicker time than the colt.

She’s All Class is a half-sister to five modest winners from Shirra Nui, an unraced half-sister by Viscount to stakes-winner Khemosabi from South African Group III winner Geordoba.
