Pleasing Arqana Results for Churchill

The first European bred yearlings by Galileo’s Champion 2YO and dual Guineas winner Churchill (IRE) are being offered at Northern Hemisphere sales in 2020 with pleasing results from the Arqana Select Yearling Sale in France this week.

He had seven yearlings sell for or €145,000, €105,000, €100,000, €95,000, €90,000, €85,000, etc off a €35,000 fee.

His top seller was a lovely bay filly from proven stakes producer Portrayal that made €145,000 for Haras de’Etreham.

The half-sister to stakes-winner Come Alive was bought by Stamina Turf and comes from a family packed with Black Type featuring Group I winners Cerulean Sky and Moonstone.

The first Australian bred Churchill yearlings will be offered at Australasian sales in 2021 and the four -time Group I winner is back in Australia for Coolmore this spring at a fee of $19,250.
