Hindaam wins in a breeze - image Natasha Morello / Racing Photos

Trained at Lindsay Park by the Hayes Dabernig team, Hindaam was a close second on debut back in February at her only previous start before heading for a good long spell.

She proved a class above in the 1200m maiden on her return, powering clear to win by five lengths for Daniel Stackhouse

Hindaam was an $825,000 Magic Millions purchase for Shadwell from the Kitchwin Hills draft and was bred in New Zealand by Windsor Park Stud.

She is the first winner for placed Fastnet rock mare Bayrock, a full sister to dual Group I winner and Royal Ascot hero Bayrock and Group II winner Jolie Bay from the family of Group I winner Bonaria.

Windsor Park Stud sold Hindaam’s full brother at Karaka this year for $875,000 to David Ellis.
