Stellar Pauline a Bridesmaid No More

Tara Madgwick - Thursday August 20

Talented Not a Single Doubt filly Stella Pauline has been a source of frustration for punters and connections ending her two year-old season winless, albeit with four seconds from five starts, but she turned over a new leaf today.

Tuned up with two recent trials, the Peter and Paul Snowden trained three year-old found maiden class at Hawkesbury a breeze, duly coasting home to win the 1100m dash by more than two lengths as favourite.

An $875,000 Magic Millions purchase for US based Stonestreet Stables from the Arrowfield Stud draft, Stellar Pauline is a full sister to Group I winner and $1.5million earner Secret Agenda being the eighth winner from eight to race from terrific producer Negotiate a daughter of Group I winner Euphoria.

Stellar Pauline was the most expensive yearling by Not a Single Doubt sold at Magic Millions 2019

Despite her lack of a victory before today, Stellar Pauline had still racked up over $500,000 in earnings last season with her placings including a second in the Magic Millions 2YO Classic to Away Game and a second to Hungry Heart in the Group II ATC Sweet Embrace Stakes.

With this confidence boosting win under her belt expect to see Stellar Pauline prove very effective when she returns to Black Type racing.
