Tabcorp and Inglis Continue Partnership Until 2023

Media Release - Friday August 7

Two of Australia’s principal racing brands, Inglis and Tabcorp, have extended their long-standing relationship by a further three years.

The new deal, confirming the continuation of Tabcorp’s wagering arm TAB and Sky Racing as Inglis’s official Wagering and Broadcast Partner, will see the formal partnership between the two parties extend to 15 consecutive years.

The partnership will continue to create exciting high value business opportunities, with heightened digital and marketing activity during Select Inglis Sales in both Sydney and Melbourne.

Tabcorp Managing Director Wagering and Media, Adam Rytenskild, said he was excited to continue the partnership with Inglis.

“Given Tabcorp’s significant connection with racing in Australia and our customers’ love for racing, I’m very happy to be extending our partnership with Inglis,” Rytenskild said.

“This partnership allows us to connect punters and partners to the world class Inglis facilities while TAB & Sky Racing will help support Inglis buyers, breeders and trainers.

“Our renewed partnership will also support the $6 million Inglis race series, including the feature 2YO Inglis Millennium worth $2 million.’’

Inglis Managing Director Mark Webster praised Tabcorp officials for working alongside Inglis and agreeing to a new deal in the middle of a global pandemic. “It’s rare for too many corporate partnerships to remain strong for 15 consecutive years and everyone at Inglis is so thrilled that Tabcorp and Sky Racing have committed to our journey for another three years,’’ Webster said.

“It shows the strength of the relationships that a contract renewal such as this can be done in the middle of such challenging times globally.

“Thank you to Luke Waldren, John Vellis and Katherine Morgan in particular for their efforts as well as the wider Tabcorp Executive such as Adam Rytenskild and Darren Pearce for their continued support.

“We value our partnership with Tabcorp and Sky Racing for many reasons but none more so than the fact they are such a great contributor to the racing industry.

“Australian racing is the only major sport that has continued largely unabated during the COVID-19 pandemic and Tabcorp and Sky Racing have played a significant role in showcasing our industry to the world these past few months and it’s been fantastic to see so many new people engage in our sport as a result.’’
