Rosebud Showcases Spring Talent

Tara Madgwick - Wednesday August 5

The Listed ATC Rosebud Stakes (1100m) at Rosehill this Saturday showcases some talented types gearing up for spring with a horse we featured from the trials earlier this week accepting for the race.

Read the trial story here featuring Ole Kirk.

The Hawkes Racing trained Ole Kirk (Written Tycoon) is one of only two stakes-winners in the race, the other being Prime Star (Starspangledbanner), the pair carrying top weights of 59 and 58 kg respectively.

Prime Star won the $2million Inglis Millennium on a heavy track.

Group placed last season, well bred colts Rulership (I Am Invincible), Kumasi (Snitzel), and Return with Honour (Fastnet Rock) are all resuming from a spell, while promising maiden winners Sixgun (Snitzel) and The Face (Rubick) add interest to what is an intriguing race.
