Promising Winner for Bennelong Bloodstock

Tara Madgwick - Wednesday August 5

Bennelong Bloodstock have bred some nice horses including Group II winner Jessy Belle, whose three year-old half-brother Tectonicus carried their colours to victory at Canterbury on Wednesday.

Second, fifth and third at his first three starts at the provincials, the Gerald Ryan trained Not a Single Doubt gelding showed the benefit of recent racing when scoring an easy length and a half win with Kerrin McEvoy in the saddle.

He relished the 1550m and the stable believes he will get a lot further, not surprising given his half-sister Jessy Belle scored her biggest win in the Group II VRC Matriarch Stakes over 2000m.

Bred and retained to race by Bennelong Bloodstock, Tectonicus is the fourth winner from Unconditional Love, a winning daughter of Group I winner Flitter, whose descendants include Group II winner Ringerdingding.

Tectonicus is the last foal of Unconditional Love, who was retired from stud duties earlier this year.

Not a Single Doubt is the sire of Tectronicus
