3YO big guns make Run To The Rose a mouth-watering affair

The carnival continues to hot up in Sydney with Saturday's focus switching back to the Golden Rose bound three-year-olds and Racenet has the fields and form online for the bumper Rosehill card.

The $200,000 Group II Run To The Rose (1200m) will see five of the top seven in Golden Rose markets lay their claims down for the $1 million feature at Rosehill in a fortnight.

Supporting the Run To The Rose on Saturday will be three other strong black-type contests with Egg Tart returning against Foxplay in the Group II Theo Marks Stakes (1300m) with the meeting also featuring the Group II Stan Fox Stakes (12500m) as well as the Group III Sheraco Stakes (1200m).

Saturday's nine-race program starts at 12.10pm (AEDT). The track was rated a good (3) at acceptance time while the rail will be in the true position for the entire circuit.

The Bureau of Meteorology forecast for Sydney for the rest of the week is:

Thursday: Sunny. Max 20.
